Chilean carrier Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV) has expanded its Galex Sling 1 service with direct regular calls at two ports in Asia and one in the Middle East.

The new calls will be at Port Klang in Malaysia, Khalifa in Abu Dhabi, and Qingdao in China. The calls are  added after CSAV recently suspended its stop at Bandar Abbas in Iran.

The changes to the Galex Sling 1 rotation will kick off with the westbound journey on June 4 in Kwangyang, South Korea, of the MV Hanjin Budapest, which is expected to arrive at Port Klang on June 18 and Khalifa on June 29, as well as the start of the MV Palena of its rotation in Asia on July 15 in Qingdao.
