Vanguard Logistics Services has set up new offices in Hanoi and Haiphong to bring to four its branches throughout Vietnam as it continues to expand its Southeast Asia network.

Vanguard opened its first office in Ho Chi Minh City in 2007, then followed it with one in Danang in 2012.

“I am eager to announce the establishment of Vanguard Hanoi and Haiphong. We have had agents in both of these locations since 2004, but now we are officially adding these points to our Vanguard network of offices,” said Jeff Lee, managing director of Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Sub-Continent.

The Hanoi office has a staff of 15, the Haiphong office, 10, Danang, six, and Ho Chi Minh, 35. There are also staffers at the container freight stations in Haiphong, Hanoi, and Danang to handle customers’ cargo and ensure added operational control.

Vanguard, a global network of owned and third-party non-vessel-operating common carriers, offers over 20 direct export services from Vietnam, with links to hundreds more through its connections in Singapore, Hong Kong, Antwerp, Hamburg, Dubai, and the United States. Vanguard Vietnam offers 20 direct import services, with other connections to Vietnam available through Hong Kong and Singapore.
