THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is allotting P20.18 billion for infrastructure projects to benefit agri-businesses in Mindanao.

DPWH said the Agribusiness Mindanao Super region aims to improve export values in marine and agricultural products, canned pineapple products and textile manufacturing.

The projects include the construction of a 2,360-meter bridge and nearby roads of 1,240 meters to connect Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental crossing Panguil Bay; the P500-million road project in Dinagat Island with a total length of 89.80 kilometers (km) and the 20.63-km access road leading to the municipality of Dinagat; and the Iligan Circumferential Road project involving the concreting of 10.518-km, two-lane road which begins at Mandulog bridge 1 and ends at Macapagal Avenue.

Other projects are the P361-million Dapitan-Dakak road, Zamboanga West Coast Road project, Junction Awang-Upi-Lebak road, Kapalong-Talaingod-Valencia, Bukidnon road project, Agusan–Davao road and the Surigao-Davao Coastal Road.
