CEVA Logistics announced the renewal of its partnership with Michelin Thailand for a further three years.

CEVA will continue to manage Michelin Thailand’s logistics operations, handling the inbound movement of tires from Michelin’s production plants into warehouse facilities in three main locations across Thailand: Laemchabang, Nongkea and Nongree.

The global supply chain company has been partnering with Michelin for the last seven years, and the contract renewal “will enable us to further increase the customer’s overall supply chain effectiveness in a very competitive market,” said Dean Thorpe, managing director of CEVA in Thailand.

Meanwhile, PT. Samudera Shipping Services said it has recently taken delivery of Sinar Jimbaran, a container vessel with a carrying capacity of 378 TEUs, in Hong Kong. This is the second vessel acquired by the liner for its domestic container shipping segment this year.

In Vietnam, shipping line Viet Nam Ocean Shipping JSC said it has set up a wholly owned subsidiary named Vosco Maritime Services One Member in Ho Chi Minh City. The subsidiary has a charter capital of VND15 billion (US$722,400) and is engaged in transportation and marine services.
