International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI) will complete Manila International Container Terminal’s first stage expansion of Yard 7 before the year ends. Upon completion, Phase 1 will increase the terminal’s import capacity by 18%. The additional storage will be key to optimizing terminal utilization, ICTSI said in a statement. Pending completion of the yard expansion, MICT has rolled out its Terminal Appointment Booking System (TABS) ahead of anticipated increase in container movement in the months leading to the holiday season.
