The 2025 Philippine Aviation Summit scheduled on October 8-9, 2025 at the Marriott Hotel Manila will bring together top public and private officials in a wide-ranging discussion of issues that include infrastructure development, foreign investment opportunities and regulatory reforms.
Themed “Steady Flight: Philippine Aviation into the Global Arena”, the event will also tackle public-private partnerships, workforce development and aviation sustainability.
The conference comes at a time of of transformative change for the aviation industry, according to organizers European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and the Asian Business Aviation Association. The industry is now second in ASEAN in terms of number of airports (90). Momentum is also building to position the Philippines as a regional aviation hub with nine major airport projects in development and significant regulatory reforms, including opening up the industry to full foreign ownership under the amended Public Service Act.
Likewise gaining ground is the business and general aviation sector with a fleet of over 600 aircraft supporting industries such as energy, mining, and emergency response. Ongoing modernization efforts in air traffic management and airport infrastructure are expected to elevate operational standards and safety across the industry.
Among confirmed conference speakers are Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, Transportation undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Jim Sydiongco, International Air Transport Association country manager for the Philippines Samuel David, International Business Aviation Council director general Kurt Edwards, Clark International Airport Corp. president Joseph Alcazar, and Civil Aeronautics Board executive director Carmelo Arcilla.
Philippine Airlines joins the summit as co-presenter and official carrier.
The summit is supported by a network of partners from the public and private sectors, including the Department of Tourism, Department of Transportation, OnePH Aviation, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, the Embassy of Sweden in Manila, the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines, the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines, Cebu Pacific, and Skytrack Aviation Services.
