The 2GO Group rolled out its new electric truck fleet in partnership with Eclimo Electric Management Inc. (EEMI), marking another step in the company’s sustainability strategy and efforts to expand clean transport solutions nationwide.
The e-trucks were launched at the 2GO Asinan Warehouse Hub in Parañaque City.
According to the company, the integration of e-vehicles (EV) into its operations supports its goal of reducing carbon emissions while maintaining reliable logistics services across the country.
“This milestone strengthens our commitment to sustainability, advancing eco-friendly transport solutions and promoting cleaner, energy-efficient mobility across the Philippines,” 2GO said in an emailed statement. “By integrating electric vehicles into our operations, we’re reducing our carbon footprint while continuing to provide reliable logistics services nationwide.”
EEMI, based in Bacoor, Cavite, is a newly formed fleet service management firm offering transport support services for companies, schools, institutions, and private villages using EVs. The company also provides fleet solutions designed to help enterprises reduce risks associated with vehicle ownership amid rising labor and equipment costs.
EEMI’s trading arm sells EVs, parts, and accessories, with customization options depending on client needs.
The company, a member of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), is also developing an EV manufacturing facility in Silang, Cavite, which will produce e- tricycles for sale to companies, local governments, and institutions.
The rollout follows 2GO’s partnership with EVAP signed in June 2025, strengthening the logistics provider’s role in advancing electric mobility in the Philippines.

“We are excited to be EVAP’s official logistics partner in pushing for greener roads,” said Faye Alonzo, 2GO forwarding business unit head. “With our reliable capabilities, we ensure the safe and efficient delivery of electric vehicles across the Philippines. The growing demand for EVs in key cities where we operate – particularly Cebu and Davao – highlights our strategic role in supporting this transition.”
EVAP president Edmund Araga said logistics support is vital in expanding EV adoption nationwide.
“It is crucial for us to embrace electric vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, especially in urban areas like Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao,” he said. “Having a reliable logistics partner like 2GO is essential to ensuring the nationwide availability and support of EVs.”
As a major sea freight operator, 2GO already provides a lower-emission alternative for long-haul transport and has begun equipping its vessels with EV charging capabilities. Two vessels, MV 2GO Masikap and MV 2GO Masinag have been retrofitted to support the movement of electric vehicles, with plans to expand the capability across the fleet.
