The 2GO Group is bullish in sustaining growth this year following a “transformative” 2024.
“We are building on the solid foundation we established in 2024 to achieve even greater success in 2025,” 2GO president and chief executive officer Frederic DyBuncio said in a statement.
“With the support of our stakeholders and the dedication of our team, we are ready to tackle new challenges, seize opportunities, and continue delivering exceptional value to our customers and partners,” DyBuncio added.
In 2024, 2GO launched a ship re-fleeting program, introducing state-of-the-art vessels that significantly boosted its operational efficiency, expanded cargo capacity by 35%, improved passenger comfort, and enabled route expansions to Davao and General Santos City.

“This initiative underscores 2GO’s commitment to delivering enhanced services while connecting more businesses and communities across the Philippines,” the logistics and sea travel solutions provider said.
2GO said it also strengthened its retail network, particularly in the Visayas region, fostering increased trade within and beyond the area.
Moreover, the company partnered with key organizations and events, such as the Department of Tourism and triathlon race Ironman Philippines, aimed to demonstrate its commitment to driving economic activity, empowering local communities, and being a trusted partner in logistics and travel services.
2GO and low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific also commissioned an x-ray machine at 2GO’s gateway hub in Manila, enabling the former to extend cut-off time for air cargo acceptance.

For 2025, key plans include further enhancements to shipping routes, expanded cold chain and ISO tank services to new destinations, and innovative logistics solutions for special projects and forwarding.
2GO said these initiatives aim to reinforce its position as a leading driver of economic progress in the Philippines, enabling seamless movement of goods and passengers across the archipelago.
2GO’s offerings cater to a wide range of logistical requirements, including solutions tailored to diverse customer needs, from less-than-container-load temperature-controlled shipments to reliable package and parcel services.
