A unit of 2GO Group Inc. expects a full-year revenue of about P722 million in 2013 on the back of expected volume growth, as it began operating at a new container yard in Navotas City in Metro Manila.

Gener Lim, president of Special Container and Value Added Services Inc. (SCVAI), a subsidiary of 2GO, said the company would tap new customers as it expands its base.

Its new container yard in Navotas has an area of 6,200 square meters with a total capacity of 700 TEUs. The yard has two cargo-handling equipment and a water treatment facility.

SCVAI is focused on supply chain services through the use of specialized containers such as isotanks and flexibags. It handles 50% of the total liquid transport market. Recently it obtained 50 TEUs of refrigerated containers.
