About 60,000 J&T Express Philippines recently received Christmas “ayuda” (essential goods) worth over P15 million from the company.
The initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to fostering a caring culture and promoting the Bayanihan spirit. The packages, filled with essential goods, were distributed to “spread holiday cheer and boost the morale of its employees for the company’s remarkable performance this year,” J&T Express said.
“While our company is known mostly for delivering packages, we believe this is one of the most important that we have to send out this year. This time, for our employees. They are the core of our services, showcasing the true Bayanihan spirit in helping others. This is what keeps our bond together in this journey of delivering smiles,” said Zoe Chi, vice president of J&T Express Philippines.
This initiative follows J&T’s efforts to support micro, small, and medium enterprises or MSMEs and local communities, including the launch of J&T Home, which allows small stores to serve as parcel drop-off points. This venture also contributed to J&T’s expansion, with more than 2,500 branches and warehouses in the country to date.
J&T Express earned notable accolades this year, including the Gold Trusted Brands Award for Airfreight/Courier Services from Reader’s Digest Asia and Courier of the Year at the 5th VP Choice Awards for the second consecutive year.
Founded in 2015, J&T Express now operates in 13 countries: Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Brazil, and Egypt.
The company said it adheres to its “customer-oriented and efficiency-based” mission of providing integrated logistics solutions through intelligent infrastructure and a digital logistics network, aiming to “connect the world with greater efficiency and bring logistical benefits to all.”
