afpiThe Aircargo Forwarders of the Philippines, Inc. (AFPI) has elected a new board of officials to lead the organization for two years.

Eagle Express Lines, Inc.’s vice president, Maria Antoinette Reyes, was elected on July 31 as AFPI’s president for 2014-2016.

Reyes replaced Dexter Yu, managing director of All System’s Logistics, Inc., who is now one of AFPI’s chairmen emeritus.

Also designated chairman emeritus is Michael Aquino, formerly AFPI chairman and currently the president and chief operating officer of U-Freight Philippines, Inc.

Members of the board for 2014-2016 include Philip Lim (Dimerco Express [Philippines], Inc.), Erich Lingad (Move It Multimodal Transport and Logistics, Inc.), Guilbert Purcia (Purcia Transport System, Inc.), Menandro Delos Santos (Royal Cargo Combined Logistics, Inc.), Benny Anunciacion (Sea-Jet International Forwarders, Inc.), Judith Azarcon (RAF International Forwarding (Phils) Inc.), Abby Lacbo (Yusen Logistics Philippines, Inc.), Mila Patag (Cargoaire Freight Forwarders, Inc.), Nancy Maramba (Wen-Parker Logistics Phils. Co. Ltd, Inc.), and Melissa Remoquillo (Damco Phils, Inc.).

Other AFPI officers will be determined at the association’s first board meeting.
