  • For the third consecutive year, AP Cargo Logistics accounted for the most volume (32.31%) in Q1

Air cargo handled by domestic forwarders inched up 1.7% to 16.839 million kilograms in the first quarter of 2025 from 16.560 million kg in the same quarter last year, according to latest data from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).

Only 98.37% of domestic airfreight forwarders submitted complete reports for the period, compared to 98.31% year-on-year, according to CAB.

Consolidations accounted for 54.1% or 9.116 million kg of the total in the first quarter, 32.5% up from 6.882 million kg posted in the same quarter of last year.

Direct shipments, which shared 45.8%, saw a 20.3% decline to 7.712 million kg from 9.677 million kg last year.

Breakbulking, meanwhile, surged 640.3% to 11,031 kg from 1,490 kg.

AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. had the biggest market share in the first quarter of 2025 with 32.31% or 5.440 million kg. AP Cargo had led CAB’s list of top 30 domestic airfreight forwarders for three consecutive years since 2022.

LBC Express, Inc. climbed to second place in the first quarter this year from third in the first quarter of last year, recording 1.815 million kg or a share of 10.78%.

Jumping three places up to third was ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc. with 1.326 million kg or 7.88% of the total.

Europac Domestic Consolidator Inc., a newcomer to the top 30 list, ranked fourth with 1.290 million or a share of 7.66%.

2GO Express, Inc. remained in fifth place with 1.074 million or 6.38%, followed by JRS Business Corp., which dropped two ranks to sixth with 809,767.50 kg or a 4.81% share.

Up four places to seventh was Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc. with 468,372.10 kg or 2.78%, while Trans-Global Consolidators Inc. rose one rank to eight handling 362,073 kg or 2.15%.

Leaping 13 places to ninth was Airspeed International Corp. with 356,293 kg or 2.12% while Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp. remained at 10th place with 349,176.50 kg or 2.07% share.

From 11th to 20th places were Wide Wide World Express Corp. (337,360.02 kg); Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp. (272,590.06 kg); Worklink Services, Inc. (264,695.16 kg); Four Aces Resources Corp. (240,210 kg); PH Global Jet Express (232,275 kg); Lite Xpress Int’l., Inc. (226,209 kg); Pharmaserv Express (204,136.15 kg); Worldwide Elite Freight Forwarding Consolidation Services, Inc. (181,012.50 kg); V-Freight Cargo Services, Inc. (179,652 kg); and Argo International Forwarders Inc. (168,964.50 kg).

Completing the top 30 were Libcap Super Express Corp. (139,254.66 kg); Fastcargo Logistics Corp. (122,967 kg); Airfreight 2100, Inc. (104,547.40 kg); AAI Worldwide Logistics Inc. (83,079.50 kg); High Light Express Philippines Corp. (73,283 kg); EPR Cargo Services (68,490 kg); JV Freight Consolidators Inc. (57,292 kg); 3-Way Cargo Transport Inc. (51,752 kg); Pambato Cargo Forwarder, Inc. (46,992.54 kg); and Linkasia Forwarding Solutions Corp. (45,097 kg).
