Teleport has been appointed as the exclusive general sales agent (GSA) for cargo carrier China Central Longhao Airlines Co. Ltd (Air Central China).

This follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties at the Zhengzhou-Kuala Lumpur ‘Air Silk Road’ Forum earlier in September 2025, teleport said in a statement.

Teleport will be commercially managing Air Central China’s freighter capacity from India, particularly Chennai and Delhi, twice weekly to Zhengzhou, with its first flight set to take off on January 5, 2026.

“We appreciate Air Central China’s vote of confidence in appointing Teleport as their exclusive GSA in India – we take that as a validation of our regional and operational experience to commercially manage their freighter capacity from India into China,” Teleport chief executive officer Pete Chareonwongsak said.

He added that the partnership further strengthens Teleport’s network by expanding new capacity with direct access from India into the heart of China.

“What makes this stronger is the direct onward connections into key cities in China from CGO such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen among others, which opens up more direct market access for businesses in India to seamlessly distribute their cargo across China,” he added.

Extended cargo connectivity into key domestic cities across China includes Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian, Chongqing, and Xiamen, under a single through-air waybill, providing seamless end-to-end movement.

China is India’s fifth largest export destination in 2025, with around 3.29% share in total exports for the year. Teleport said it expects to move a broad range of general cargo, pharmaceuticals and perishable goods.
