End-to-end logistics solutions provider Airspeed officially launched a program aimed at helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) grow their business.

The SME Program supports local entrepreneurs by providing them access to various services, such as specialized international and domestic freight forwarding with exclusive rates and offers, tailored storage solutions, e-commerce fulfillment, pick-up and drop-off services, financial aid, marketing platforms, trade fair opportunities, and training.

Airspeed Group of Companies chairperson Rosemarie Rafael, in a speech during the program’s launch on June 20, noted the importance of supporting SMEs in helping the country’s economy to grow.

“Recognizing that logistics goes beyond mere goods transportation, Airspeed believes that supporting stakeholders is vital in business development, community enhancement, and economic advancement,” Airspeed said in a separate statement.

“The company is dedicated to providing efficient and dependable multimodal logistics services that empower businesses to grow, cut costs, and streamline their supply chains,” it added.

Airspeed aims to onboard 2,000 SMEs to the program this year, according to Rafael.

The program aims to address pain points experienced by SMEs in starting and growing their business and help empower them to make their business sustainable.

A vital feature of the program is Pinaspeed, Airspeed’s newest online booking and delivery platform developed for online sellers. Its user-friendly interface allows users to monitor their shipments in real time, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries.

SMEs enrolled in the program can also take advantage of Airspeed’s logistics services and nationwide coverage. Special rates are offered for warehousing, inventory management, packing, and last-mile delivery so are special SME rates for domestic and international shipments from Airspeed partners Philippine Airlines and FedEx.

In addition, Airspeed offers to help tap financial institutions as well as provide free consultation on how SMEs can expand their domestic and international reach.

The SME Program allows clients to utilize the Kahanga-Hanga PH website, a platform developed by Airspeed to feature products from SMEs in different parts of the Philippines and help them reach a wider audience, expand their customer base, and increase sales.

Together with institutional and government partners such as the Department of Trade and Women’s Business Council Philippines, Airspeed offers complimentary training, resources, and tools to assist SMEs and help them upscale their business.

Tailored services to meet SMEs’ unique requirements, including merchant portfolio development, business growth, product curation, and brand enhancement are on offer, too.
