BOC-CDO honors top importers, exporters for 2023

  • Shell Pilipinas emerged as the district’s top importer while Philippine Sinter Corp was its top exporter
  • The awardees helped contribute to BOC-CDO’s P37.023-billion revenue collection in 2023

The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Cagayan De Oro honored its top importers and exporters for 2023 at an awards ceremony on February 2 at Limketkai Luxe Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City.

Shell Pilipinas Corp emerged as the top importer while Philippine Sinter Corp was the top exporter.

The BOC-CDO recognized the companies for contributing to the district’s total revenue collection of P37.023 billion for 2023.

Apart from Shell Pilipinas, the other top importers for 2023 were:

  1. Jetti Petroleum, Inc.
  2. Petron Corporation
  3. SL Harbour Bulk Terminal Corporation
  4. Nestle Philippines, Inc.
  5. Insular Oil Corporation
  6. BLY Agriventure Trading
  7. Felcor Petroleum Depot Corporation
  8. GN Power Corporation
  9. Steag State Power, Inc.

Joining Philippine Sinter Corp in the list of top exporters for 2023 were:

  1. Del Monte Philippines, Inc.
  2. Pilipinas Kao, Inc.
  3. Axelum Resources Corporation
  4. Wilmar Edible Oil Philippines, Inc.
  5. Jacobi Carbon Philippines, Inc.
  6. Donau Carbon Philippines Corporation
  7. Dole Philippines, Inc.
  8. VCT Mini Enterprises
  9. Limketkai Manufacturing Corporation

Cagayan de Oro district collector Alexandra Lumontad commended the awardees for diligently paying their duties and taxes, emphasizing their vital role in supporting government programs.

“Let this recognition serve as a testament to our appreciation and commitment to maintaining a continuous partnership for the years to come. As public servants, we are dedicated to doing our best to serve you, listening to your concerns and feedback to enhance and streamline our Customs processes,” Lumontad said in her speech.

She expressed commitment to maintaining a strong partnership and improving customs processes based on stakeholder feedback, aligning with BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio’s priority program of enhancing Customs-stakeholder partnerships.
