The Bureau of Customs (BOC) collected P46.145 billion in February 2021, 9.5% higher than its P42.157-billion target for the month.

Ten of the 17 collection districts surpassed their monthly collection targets for February, the bureau said in a statement, citing a report from its Financial Service.

These districts were Legazpi, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Subic, Batangas, Iloilo, Clark, Davao, Port of Manila, and Manila International Container Port.

Last January, BOC also surpassed its monthly revenue collection target by 7.4%.

For 2021, BOC is tasked to collect P616.7 billion, 22% higher than the 2020 revised target of P506.150 billion and 14% up from the P539.660 billion actual collection recorded last year.
