The Bureau of Customs-Port of NAIA seized 5,205 tablets in the DHL warehouse in Pasay City with an estimated street value of P9 million.

The tablets were found concealed in a paper shredder shipped from the United Kingdom and consigned to an individual in Pasig City. Customs personnel discovered the tablets while conducting Customs document check and physical examination of the package after having observed inconsistencies in details.

The tablets were turned over to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for further investigation and prosecution of consignee and those involved for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act in relation to Section 1401 (Unlawful Importation) of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
