The smuggled luxury vehicle, with a value of P45 million, was found after the Intelligence Group alerted the MICP-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service Field Station for a possible smuggling attempt. An alert order was immediately issued by MICP district collector Romeo Allan Rosales.

A warrant of seizure and detention will be issued against the shipment for violation of Section 1400 concerning Section 1113 of Republic Act 10863 (Customs Modernization and Tariff Act).
