The Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) Electronic-to-Mobile (e2m) system is now operating normally following reconnection of the agency’s internet service.

This was announced by Management Information System and Technology Group officer-in-charge deputy commissioner Atty. Kriden Balgomera in an August 15 memo.

BOC the previous day notified stakeholders of the unavailability of e2m due to problems with the internet service of PLDT in some areas of Manila.

The BOC had to implement a semi-manual procedure to process goods declarations affected by the interruption. This interim procedure is now lifted, said Balgomera.
