Cathay Pacific handed its Manila Airport Team the Best Performance Award for Airport Service Excellence in Southeast Asia.

The award recognizes the team’s accomplishment in exceeding its target for overall net satisfaction in 2023 and for continuously improving monthly port performance.

The awards were handed out at the Hong Kong-based carrier’s Southeast Asia Kick-Off Conference on January 29-31 at the Intercontinental Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, Vietnam.

The Manila team also received the Top Asia Miles Sign-up Port award for topping the Asia miles recruitment sign-up in Southeast Asia.

Further, the team was cited for its customer engagement record of fostering positive interaction and relationships with passengers, and for showing resilience even during the January 1 and May 1, 2023 power supply disruptions at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Cathay Pacific also acknowledged its Manila ground handler, Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, Inc., as a valuable operations partner.
