Cavitex Infrastructure Corp. (CIC) started charging toll at the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (Cavitex) Sucat Interchange on September 23.

The development follows the issuance of a Notice to Start Collection from the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), CIC said.

The new toll rates are as follows:

  • Class 1 – P36
  • Class 2 – P72
  • Class 3 – P108

TRB last June approved a 30-day toll holiday—subject to two months extension—for Cavitex effective July 1, 2024. The toll holiday was announced by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. during the June 21 inauguration of the Cavitex C5 Link Segment 2—officially known as Sucat Interchange, a 1.9-kilometer expressway connecting Cavitex R-1 (Coastal Rd.) from Parañaque Toll Plaza to Sucat through the R-1 Interchange.

Around 16,000 motorists are expected to enjoy reduced travel time of 10 minutes from Cavitex to Sucat Road and vice versa.

CIC, a unit of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., operates Cavitex with joint venture partner Philippine Reclamation Authority. It also holds the concession for the Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
