Cebu Pacific recently took delivery of its 13th Airbus A330neo aircraft for use in domestic routes.

The 459-seater aircraft, the third of four A330neos expected this year, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France. The first two were delivered on March 28 and July 18.

“Being the largest A330neo operator in Asia reflects our strong commitment to enhancing connectivity across the region. This aircraft enables us to serve more passengers while keeping costs low, which is a key part of our mission to offer affordable fares for every Juan,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said in a statement.

The widebody aircraft has already been deployed between Manila and Puerto Princesa with four-times weekly flights starting November 2.

Daily A330neo flights between Manila and Bohol will commence on November 16.

Cebu Pacific said the A330neo provides it flexibility to serve regional and long-haul routes as well as high-demand sectors. With increased range and capacity, the aircraft enables the airline to optimize its operations while maintaining cost efficiency.
