An aircraft of Cebu Pacific had a “slight runway excursion” upon touchdown at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 runway at 11:45 a.m. today, March 8.

Cebu Pacific flight DG 6112 had just flown in from Naga City when the incident happened, according to a Cebu Pacific advisory.

“All 42 passengers and four crew deplaned normally and are safe with no reported injuries. The passengers are being looked after and cared for,” the airline added.

In a separate update, Cebu Pacific said the aircraft was towed from the runway shortly after 1pm. The airline said it is also working on normalizing its operations as soon as possible.

Cebu Pacific said more updates will be provided as soon as more details become available.

Due to the incident, Philippine Airlines said four of its international flights will be delayed while three other are diverted to Clark International Airport.
