Cebu Pacific flew 2.1 million passengers in October 2025, a 1% decline from the same month last year, as the airline continued to manage capacity amid operational challenges and weather disruptions.

Seat load factor (SLF) slipped to 79.3% from 80.5% despite a 0.6% increase in total seats offered, the listed company reported in a regulatory disclosure.

Domestic traffic fell 4.5% year-on-year as domestic seat capacity contracted 6.1%, resulting in a load factor of 82.5%.

International passenger traffic, on the other hand, rose 10.7% as seat capacity expanded 22.2%, pulling international load factor down to 71.4%.

“October reflected our active capacity management, as we navigated ongoing supply chain challenges, particularly those related to Pratt & Whitney engines, as well as weather-related disruptions,” Mark Cezar, CEB’s chief financial officer, said in a press release.

“Capacity growth was intentionally moderated to ensure operational resilience ahead of the peak travel season,” he said.
