Cebu Pacific is restoring international flights and launching additional domestic routes from Davao as it expands its regional network.

Starting October 28, 2024, Cebu Pacific will operate direct three times weekly flights between Davao and Bangkok (Don Mueang International Airport) in Thailand.

The airline is also launching daily flights from Davao to Caticlan and Puerto Princesa on October 27, 2024 while three times weekly flights to and from Tacloban will operate starting October 29, 2024.

“We are excited to restore international flights and operate additional domestic routes from our hub in Mindanao,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said in a statement.

“Through Cebu Pacific’s extensive network and value-for-money fares, more travelers from Davao will now be able to discover what the Philippines and the rest of the world has to offer,” Lao added.

Cebu Pacific said the resumption of direct flights to Bangkok will allow passengers from Davao to easily explore the Southeast Asian country’s vibrant streets and night life, go on a shopping frenzy in their bustling markets, and know more about Thailand’s rich cultural heritage. Travelers also have more opportunities to taste authentic Thai cuisine such Pad Thai and Tom Yum Goong, or visit famous tourist attractions like the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Floating Market.

Within local shores, Davaoeño travelers will also have easier access to the white sand beaches of Boracay, experience Puerto Princesa’s rich natural beauty and lush flora and fauna or take a trip to the cityscape of Tacloban, with direct Cebu Pacific flights.

To encourage travel, Cebu Pacific has an ongoing seat sale until August 15, 2024, allowing passengers to book their flights across these additional routes for as low as P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and charges. The travel period is from October 21, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

Currently, Cebu Pacific currently flies to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
