Cebu Pacific is resuming its direct flights between Zamboanga and Cotabato as it continues to ramp up service from its Mindanao hub.

Cebu Pacific said in a statement on October 12 that it is currently the only airline offering a direct route between the two provinces. It operates the service through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cebgo.

On November 7, the airline will begin flying directly from Zamboanga to Cotabato thrice weekly, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The flight is scheduled to depart Zamboanga International Airport at 10:55am and will arrive in Cotabato at 12:00pm. Its return flight will depart Awang Airport at 12:25pm, and arrive in Zamboanga at 1:25pm.

Cebu Pacific also flies direct from Zamboanga to three other Philippine destinations, namely Cebu, Davao, and Manila.

“We are happy to keep boosting our network outside Metro Manila as we continue to resume our inter-island connections. We are pleased to bring this direct flight back to our network in line with our commitment to make travel accessible and convenient for everyJuan,” Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.

To mark the service resumption, Cebu Pacific announced a special P188 sale ticket from October 12 until October 16, 2022. Travel period is from November 7, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

The airline had said earlier it now operates 88% of its pre-pandemic systemwide capacity, flying to a total of 34 domestic and 19 international destinations.
