Cebu Pacific carried 1.8 million passengers in September 2025, a 2.6% increase from the same month last year, fueled by higher capacity and steady travel demand across its network.
The airline’s seat load factor (SLF) averaged 81.1%, slightly lower than 82.6% in 2024, following a 4.4% expansion in total seat capacity. Domestic traffic rose 1.3% year-on-year, supported by a 2.1% increase in seats, resulting in an 83.7% SLF.
International passenger volumes climbed 6.7%, while seat capacity expanded 11.2%, pulling the international SLF down by 3.2 percentage points to 73.9%.
For the year-to-date period, Cebu Pacific flew nearly 20 million passengers, up 13.9% from 17.5 million during the same period last year.
Of this total, domestic passengers reached 14.9 million (+12.7%) and international passengers hit 5.1 million (+17.7%). Overall capacity increased 14% to 23.5 million seats, while SLF averaged 84.8%.
“September’s results reflected the typical lean travel period in the Philippines, which we use strategically to complete aircraft maintenance and prepare our fleet for the peak season,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.
