Cebu Pacific is set to launch direct flights between Osaka and Cebu starting October 15, 2024.

The new offering will make Cebu Pacific the only airline to offer direct flights between Cebu and Osaka, the low-cost carrier said in a statement.

The four times weekly flights will be every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“We are thrilled to launch direct flights from Osaka to Cebu,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.

“We hope that the launch of the Osaka-Cebu route will encourage more travelers from Japan to explore the beauty of the Philippines,” Lao added.

To celebrate the new route, Cebu Pacific is offering flights from Osaka to Cebu for as low as 3,000 yen one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, for flight bookings from July 22 to 31. The travel period will run from October 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

With flights to Cebu made more convenient, Cebu Pacific said travelers from Osaka now have more reason to experience the breathtaking Moalboal Sardine Run, go island-hopping from the white sand beaches of Mactan, or indulge in Cebu’s famous lechon and dried mangos.

Aside from Cebu-Osaka, Cebu Pacific also offers daily flights between Narita and Cebu.

Cebu currently flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
