The Airbus A320-271N, registered as RP-C4350 and bearing manufacturer serial number 8077 was originally delivered to IndiGo Airlines in May 2018, before being transferred to Cebu Pacific.
Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer, said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to welcome another aircraft to our growing fleet.”
He added that “this delivery supports our commitment to making air travel more accessible and can help us serve upcoming route launches in October, including Davao to Puerto Princesa and Hong Kong.”
The recently delivered aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney engines. The A320 series is known for its fuel efficiency, consuming 15% less fuel per flight compared to previous generations, according to Airbus.
Cebu Pacific operates one of the youngest fleets globally, and boasts of a mix of Airbus and ATF aircraft. This enables the company to maintain the widest network coverage across the Philippines.
The company last year announced the biggest purchase of aircraft in local aviation history. Cebu Pacific is part of the Gokongwei group of companies.
