Cebu Pacific (CEB) welcomed its 12th aircraft of the year, an Airbus A321neo, on September 26 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
With registration MSN 12067 | RP-C4146, the 236-seater aircraft originated from the Airbus Hamburg-Finkenwerder plant in Germany. From there, it flew to Muscat International Airport in Oman and then Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, before finally landing in Manila.
This new addition supports CEB’s ongoing network expansion and fleet modernization.
The Airbus NEOs, known for burning 15% less fuel and producing less noise, align with CEB’s sustainability efforts and growing fleet, which now includes over 80 aircraft and enables the company to maintain the widest network coverage across the Philippines.
Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, said, “This latest aircraft delivery aligns with our goal of enhancing our fleet and expanding our network to better serve every Juan. With each fuel-efficient aircraft we welcome to our fleet, we are taking steps toward achieving our net zero goal by 2050 while continuing to open more routes and introduce new destinations for our passengers.”

Last July, CEB signed a binding memorandum of understanding with Airbus for the purchase of up to 152 A321neo aircraft for $24 billion (P1.4 trillion) based on list prices, the largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history.
The MOU covers firm orders for up to 102 A321neo, plus 50 A320neo family purchase rights. The low-cost carrier selected Pratt & Whitney (P&W) GTF engines to power the future aircraft.
Cebu Pacific, part of the Gokongwei group, made aviation history last year with the largest aircraft purchase in the Philippines.
