The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) tapped the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) as receiving facility for Likhang Filipino products that require delivery to local and international buyers.

Under the partnership, PHLPost will serve as the official Acceptance Post Office for Express Mail Service (EMS) shipments from Likhang Filipino participants effective January 15, 2026.

The initiative aims to help local artisans, designers, and producers efficiently ship their products to domestic and international destinations.

PHLPost said the collaboration will facilitate the acceptance and processing of EMS parcels. As the designated Acceptance Post Office, PHLPost Mega Manila Area will handle streamlined processing, proper documentation, and timely dispatch of shipments.

“This initiative strengthens our commitment to empower Filipinos to promote and ship homegrown products on the global stage,” Acting postmaster general and chief executive officer Maximo Sta. Maria III said.

“By providing accessible and dependable logistics services, we help bridge local craftsmanship to international opportunities,” he added.

CITEM said the partnership complements the objectives of the Likhang Filipino program, which showcases Philippine design, creativity, and craftsmanship, by addressing logistics constraints that often limit the export potential of micro, small, and medium enterprises.

With access to PHLPost’s EMS network, participating consumers and producers are expected to benefit from faster, trackable, and secure delivery of goods to overseas markets.

The collaboration aligns with broader government efforts to strengthen trade facilitation, support micro, small, and medium enterprises, and promote Filipino-made products globally by improving access to export-ready logistics services.

Last week, the Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls were reopened at the ITC Complex (PhilTrade) along Roxas Boulevard. The 8,000-square meter space features the best of Filipino art, design, and food.
