The annual ASQ Awards is presented to top performing ACI member airports, recognizing their excellence in customer experience based on direct passenger feedback.

AIC represents the collective interests of airports around the world to promote excellence in the aviation industry. For the 2025 awards, nearly 707,000 passengers worldwide were surveyed across all operating hours, days, and months using scientifically designed sampling methods.

CRK was one of the six airports worldwide to receive the Best Airports at Arrivals Globally award, which recognizes airports with the top 20% overall satisfaction score at arrival.

The other awardees were Bahrain International Airport, and four Indian airports: Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport Lucknow, Kempegowda International AirPort, Mangaluru International Airport, and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

For the second year in a row, MCIA was recognized as one of the best airports at departures in Asia Pacific for the 5-15 million passengers per annum category. MCIA was one of the 88 airports globally to receive the award, which recognizes airports with the top 20% overall satisfaction score by size and region at departure.

“This recognition from our passengers affirms the dedication of our entire airport community in delivering Cebuano warmth and world-class hospitality,” Athanasios Titonis, chief executive officer of MCIA-operator Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corp. (ACAC), said in a statement.

ACAC said the award underscore MCIA’s continuous drive to position Cebu as a highly competitive and traveler-centered hub for regional travel, a key factor in achieving its vision to become the main tourism and transfer hub in the Philippines.
