Defense supply chain company Anglicotech LLC reaffirmed its investment interest in the Aurora economic zone during a recent high-level meeting with the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO).
APECO president and CEO Gil Taway IV met with Anglicotech CEO David Cooper on December 19, 2025 to discuss the company’s continued engagement and long-term outlook in the Philippines.
The meeting underscored Anglicotech’s confidence in APECO as a strategic location that supports national security, logistics, and related services.
The discussions also highlighted Anglicotech’s intent to pursue a measured, multi-phase investment approach, building on existing operational strengths while positioning for future expansion as conditions mature, APECO said in a press release.
Both parties emphasized the importance of alignment with government priorities, regional stability, and sustainable economic development.
“Our engagement with Anglicotech reflects a shared understanding that defense-related investments require stability, clarity of policy, a long-term view, and good governance. We are strengthening this under APECO’s current reforms,” Taway said.
Taway also reiterated APECO’s commitment to providing a conducive investment environment, supporting responsible defense-related industries, and fostering partnerships that contribute to economic growth and job generation in the province of Aurora.
Cooper and Anglicotech Philippines Country Manager Edmund Rustia visited the ecozone located in the town of Casiguran last August 16 for site inspection.
