DHL Express Philippines’ new service point at the Light Rail Transit (LRT)-1 Redemptorist-Aseana Station recently underwent blessing ceremonies.

Located within the LRT-1 station along Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque, the new service point allows customers to send documents and parcels while transiting to and from work, eliminating the need to travel to standalone courier offices. It expands the company’s retail presence, making domestic and international shipping more accessible to commuters and nearby businesses.

The facility offers access to DHL Express’ global logistics network, providing the same delivery standards available at its other branches nationwide. It features a spacious customer area, ample parking, and improved accessibility to accommodate higher foot traffic.

Country manager Nigel Lockett and vice president for Commercial Eric Queppet attended the blessing ceremonies, which featured a ribbon cutting and chocolate giveaways.

The opening reflects DHL Express Philippines’ strategy to bring its services closer to customers by locating branches in high-traffic transport hubs and key urban centers, the company said.

DHL Express is an international express service provider, operating in more than 220 countries and territories.  In the Philippines, the company has been operating for 50 years and continues to strengthen its presence through retail expansion and investments in infrastructure to support the country’s growing e-commerce and trade sectors.

The company operates two major gateways in Manila and Cebu. Its nationwide reach is supported by more than 260 points-of-sale and over 1,000 staff.
