HANOI, VIETNAM – DHL Supply Chain Vietnam is developing a new 80,000-square meter warehouse in Hưng Yên province and ramping up upskilling activities for its workforce as it aims to maintain operational growth this year.

The more than 80,000-square meter state-of-the art A grade warehouse along the Northern Vietnam Economic Corridor will be strategically located next to highway 39A and Hanoi–Hai Phong highway, an important route to Hai Phong seaport and Cai Lan port in Quang Ninh Province.
On the people side, Juvigny said the company is focused on upskilling the workforce and doubling down on management training.
In an interview with PortCalls, the DHL Supply Chain Vietnam MD described the outlook this year as “quite positive”, with technology and life sciences, particularly medical devices, as growth drivers.
Opportunities to the south of Vietnam are also being keenly eyed, he said.
Boding well for the tech sector is Vietnam’s national semiconductor industry development program and the government’s desire for Vietnam to transition into a manufacturing hub rather than just an assembly/testing center.
The medical devices market in Vietnam, meanwhile, is set to grow as demand for medical devices increases. By 2027, the market is projected to reach US$2.4 billion, making it a promising sector for foreign investment.
Vietnam is part of the DHL Group’s Geographic Tailwinds 20 (GT20) initiative that identified 20 countries around the world considered to have the greatest potential and set to benefit from supply chain diversification.
