Sean Wall, DHL Express’ new senior vice president of network operations and aviation for Asia Pacific

A 25-year veteran in the logistics industry has been named the new senior vice president of DHL Express’ network operations and aviation for Asia-Pacific.

Based in Singapore,  Sean Wall will oversee the company’s aviation network across 40 countries and territories; four main hubs in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore; and over 70 gateways in Asia-Pacific.

“Wall has an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the logistics industry in Asia Pacific, having been based in the region for more than 12 years,” Jerry Hsu, CEO of DHL Express Asia Pacific, said.

Before his current position, Wall was the deputy managing director of DHL-Sinotrans International Air Courier, where he saw the overall management and development of DHL Express in mainland China.

Wall began his career with DHL Express in the UK in 1986. Since then, he has held several management positions throughout the company, including country general manager in the Sultanate of Oman in 1995, national operations director in Indonesia in 2000, national operations director in China in 2003, deputy managing director in 2005, and vice president of ground and gateway operations for Asia-Pacific and emerging markets in 2009.
