President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Carlo Antonio Dimayuga III as acting chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Press Secretary Rose Beatrix Angeles confirmed on August 4.

Dimayuga, whose appointment paper was dated August 1, will replace Romando Artes.

A report on state-owned broadcaster PTV said Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez had already administered Dimayuga’s oath of office.
