Domestic air freight forwarders in the Philippines handled 32.834 million kilograms of air cargo in the first six months of 2025, up 1.1% from the 32.471 million kg reported in the same period last year, according to latest data from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).

Consolidations, which accounted for 54.42% of the total, grew 26.8% year-on-year to 17.868 million kg.

Direct shipments shared 45.53% of the total with 14.949 million kg, down 18.6%.

Breakbulking, meanwhile, increased 61% to 17,189 kg.

For the period, 98.13% of domestic airfreight forwarders submitted complete reports compared to 95.90% in 2024.

AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. continued to handle the biggest share, leading the CAB’s list of top 30 domestic airfreight forwarders for the period with 10.674 million kg or 32.51% of the total.

LBC Express, Inc. climbed to second place (from third in the first half of 2024) with 3.68 million kg or a share of 11.21%.

Europac Domestic Consolidator Inc. placed third with a share of 7.44% or 2.443 million kg, followed by ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc., which jumped three ranks to fourth with 2.182 million kg or a 6.65% share.

Remaining in their ranks at fifth and sixth respectively were 2GO Express, Inc. with 2.101 million kg or a 6.4% share, and JRS Business Corp. with 1.663 million kg or a share of 5.06%.

Up three places in seventh was Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc. with 853,549 kg or a 2.6% share, while Wide Wide World Express Corp. moved four ranks up to eighth handling 817,744 kg or a 2.49% share.

Still in ninth place was Trans-Global Consolidators Inc. with 783,832 kg or a 2.39% share, while up three ranks to 10th was Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp. with 677,350 kg with a 2.06% share.

From 11th to 20th places were Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp. (669,039 kg); Airspeed International Corp. (573,942 kg); Four Aces Resources Corp. (541,395 kg); Lite Xpress Int’l., Inc. (502,465 kg); Worklink Services, Inc. (463,314 kg); PH Global Jet Express (409,088 kg); Pharmaserv Express (400,743 kg); Worldwide Elite Freight Forwarding Consolidation Services, Inc. (370,998 kg); Libcap Super Express Corp. (306,541 kg); and V-Freight Cargo Services, Inc. (270,133 kg).

Completing the list to 30th were Fastcargo Logistics Corp. (256,148 kg); AAI Worldwide Logistics Inc. (189,089 kg); High Light Express Philippines Corp. (185,464 kg); Argo International Forwarders Inc. (168,965 kg); Airfreight 2100, Inc. (162,116 kg); NAF Global Inc. (156,840 kg); 3-Way Cargo Transport Inc. (153,890 kg); EPR Cargo Services (110,753 kg); V Freight Consolidators Inc. (104,476 kg); and Pambato Cargo Forwarder, Inc. (82,941 kg). – Roumina Pablo
