Domestic airfreight forwarders processed 68.458 million kilograms (kg) of cargo in 2025, up 1.9% from the 67.2 million kg recorded in 2024, according to preliminary data from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).
This was the third consecutive year of increase despite only 88.6% of accredited domestic airfreight forwarders having complete submission reports for 2025 while 97.21% had complete submission reports for 2024, CAB noted.
Direct shipments, which accounted for 50.65% of the total in 2025, grew 5.8% to 34.672 million kg from 32.768 million kg in 2024.
Consolidations shared 33.752 million kg or 49.3%, and was down 1.9% from the 34.402 million kg posted in 2024.
Breakbulking, meanwhile, had the biggest increase of 24.5% to 34,859 kg from 27,996.67 kg.
AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. continued to handle the highest volume for the fourth year in a row, leading CAB’s list of top 30 domestic airfreight forwarders for 2025 handling 19,882 million kg or a share of 29.04% to the total.
“Maintaining AP Cargo’s position as the country’s leading air freight forwarder in 2025 reflects the strength of our nationwide network, the solid partnership with aviation — and ultimately the trust our customers place in us,” AP Cargo president and chief executive officer Enrique Castillo told PortCalls in an emailed statement.
In 2025, Castillo said while growth of the economy was constrained particularly in the second half, AP Cargo continued to invest in expanding its truck fleet capacity, branch network, and upgrade its cargo management system “with the end goal of keeping the trust of customers who depend on us for excellent and reliable service.”

“As demand for faster and more dependable cargo movement grows, we continue to invest more importantly in maintaining a committed workforce and a leadership team, focused on delivering possibilities to the SMEs [small and medium enterprises] and enterprises we serve,” Castillo said.
LBC Express, Inc. also maintained its position at second handling 7.106 million kg or a share of 10.38%.
2GO Express, Inc. moved one rank up to third with 4.492 million kg (6.56%), replacing Europac Domestic Consolidator Inc., which dropped to fourth with 4.378 million kg (6.4%).
ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc climbed up three places to fifth handling 4.159 million kg or 6.08% of the total.
GO21, Inc., new entrant to the top 30 list, placed sixth with 3.384 million kg or a share of 4.94%, displacing JRS Business Corp., which dropped to seventh place with 3.279 million kg or a share of 4.79%.
Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc., meanwhile, was back in the top 10, ranking eight with 1.742 million kg or a 2.55% share.
Wide Wide World Express Corp. leaped a spot to ninth handling 1.607 million kg (2.35%), while Four Aces Resources Corp. fell one rank to 10th with 1.534 million kg (2.24%).

Completing the top 30 list were Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp. (1.455 million kg); Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp. (1.336 million kg); Trans-Global Consolidators Inc. (1.167 million kg); Worklink Services, Inc. (1.080 million kg); Airspeed International Corp. (1.007 million kg); Lite Xpress Int’l., Inc. (1 million kg); PH Global Jet Express (911,835 kg); Worldwide Elite Freight Forwarding Consolidation (814,905 kg); Pharmaserv Express (699,877 kg); Libcap Super Express Corp. (646,861 kg); FAST Logistics Corp. (583,674 kg); AAI Worldwide Logistics Inc. (515,879 kg); South Giant Int’l Logistics Inc. (484,843 kg); V-Freight Cargo Services, Inc.
