e-Konek Pilipinas, Inc. has donated information technology equipment to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).

The donation includes 20 sets of desktop personal computers, three Apple iPads, and three large TV monitors, which will be used by the SBMA for services such as the electronic Transit Admission Permit System, Gatepass Management System, Trade Automation and Facilitation System, and Automated Export Documentation System.

SBMA chairman and administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño accepted the donation from e-Konek Pilipinas chairman and president Theresita Eisma by signing the turnover document on April 3, SBMA said in a statement.

SBMA senior deputy administrator for operations Ronnie Yambao said the donation will support the authority in its various initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations.

Aliño expressed his gratitude to e-Konek for the donation, citing that the equipment will be beneficial for the shipping sector. “We are grateful for the donation. Rest assured that these equipment we received will be fully utilized by the SBMA,” he said in a statement.

e-Konek is a software solutions company niching on providing technology tools for the supply chain industry. It is a value-added service provider accredited by various government agencies, including the Bureau of Customs, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and SBMA.
