Ex transport chief Tugade’s son appointed acting MIAA general manager

  • Tugade is the son of former Transport secretary Arthur Tugade

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has appointed Atty. Jose Arturo Tugade as acting general manager and chief executive officer (CEO) of Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

Tugade is the son of former Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, who served from 2016 to June 2022.

Replacing Cesar Chiong, Tugade will also be a member of the MIAA Board of Directors.

MIAA manages and operates the country’s main gateway, Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
