Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) announced that Kawal Preet, executive vice president for Planning, Engineering, and Transformation, has been included in the Fortune Most Powerful Women (MPW) Asia 2025 list, which recognizes 100 influential leaders transforming business and industry across the region.
Preet, who previously served as regional president for FedEx Asia Pacific, was cited for her leadership in advancing innovation and operational excellence across one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing markets.
“This prestigious recognition highlights her exceptional leadership of the FedEx Asia Pacific team and outstanding accomplishments under her guidance, underscoring her impact in the industry,” FedEx said in a statement.
The Fortune MPW Asia 2025 list honors leaders from Asia’s financial, consumer, technology, transport, and energy sectors whose work is shaping the region’s economic and industrial future.

Fortune editors evaluated nominees based on company scale and health, career momentum, influence, innovation, and efforts to drive social impact. The list includes 28 women in global or regional roles at Fortune Global 500 companies, six C-suite leaders from Southeast Asia 500 firms, and 12 cultural and public sector icons. Fortune said it assessed company scale, business health, influence, innovation, and social impact in determining the honorees.
