FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., the world’s largest express transportation company, has shortened by one day its transit time for non-document shipments from Asia-Pacific to Italy.

Customers in Asia-Pacific, which includes those in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, will benefit from faster deliveries to Italy at the same rates.

“Europe continues to be a key export market for many businesses in Asia-Pacific. This latest service enhancement reaffirms FedEx’s commitment to providing these businesses with faster and more reliable access to this important market,” said David Cunningham, president of FedEx Express, Asia-Pacific.

FedEx aims to facilitate trade routes between Asia-Pacific and Europe, has increased its direct service from Hong Kong to Paris, and expanded its international economy service from Asia to Europe by adding 11 more destinations for a total of 36 locations, a company statement said.
