Fly Ace Corporation has signed an agreement with Aboitiz Ecoomic Estates to develop a 7-hectare manufacturing facility within LIMA Estate, marking a strategic shift for the company towards local production.

The planned facility represents the firm’s transition from primarily importing and distributing fast-moving consumer goods to becoming a more integrated manufacturer serving the domestic market and for export, LIMA Estates operator Aboitiz Economic Estates said in a press release.

Fly Ace has been a key player in the Philippine consumer goods market for over fifty years, handling brands such as Jolly, Doña Elena, Jolly Heart Mate, and Good Life. It has also collaborated with international brands such as Welch’s, Lotus, and Mott’s.

Company officials said the new manufacturing hub will allow Fly Ace to bring production closer to local markets, strengthen the resilience of food supply chains, open opportunities for export-oriented operations, and enable joint ventures with existing and future partners.

LIMA Estate offers ready-to-operate infrastructure, regulatory support from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and direct access to key transport corridors.

Situated along major thoroughfares such as the South Luzon Expressway, STAR Tollway, and Cavite-Laguna Expressway, the estate provides efficient connectivity to gateways including Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the Manila International Container Terminal, the Port of Batangas, and the emerging South Luzon Container Terminal.

This connectivity is expected to help the company optimize logistics, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen collaboration with international partners while deepening its value chain presence in the Philippine economy.

“When we visited LIMA, I could see why it’s the right place for this investment. As a well-planned industrial development, we look forward to partnering with Aboitiz for this landmark expansion project,” said Lucio Cochanco Jr., Fly Ace Corporation president.

Beyond the operational advantages, the project is expected to contribute to the broader industrial growth of the CALABARZON region, where manufacturing investments continue to generate jobs, expand supplier networks, and support regional economic momentum.

LIMA Estate currently hosts nearly 200 locators and has generated around 75,000 jobs across multiple industries.

“Over the last five years, our Economic Estates have attracted strong interest from both foreign and domestic investors across our portfolio, and we remain committed to providing a reliable environment through our ecosystem of solutions that help businesses grow and scale,” said Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, president and chief executive officer of Aboitiz Economic Estates, part of Aboitiz Land.

Fly Ace stated that the new facility underscores its long-term strategy to expand domestic manufacturing, increase employment, strengthen supply chains, and improve its role in the country’s growing industrial sector.
