G6 trip cancellationThe G6 Alliance is canceling two Asia-Europe sailings in response to a seasonal trough in demand.

The first void sailing will be on Loop 4 in week 6, with an expected time of arrival (ETA) at Ningbo, China, on February 7, 2014.

The other is on the Loop 7 service in week 7, with an ETA at Qingdao, China, of February 10.

The void sailings are in addition to those previously announced in October 2013.

On October 10 last year, the alliance said it was canceling the Asia-Europe trip for the Loop 6 service in week 7 of this year. Its ETA at Kaohsiung, Taiwan,  was supposed to be February 10, 2014.

For its Asia-Mediterranean service, the void journey is for the EUM service in week 7, with ETA at Busan, South Korea, of February 9, 2014.

The G6 Alliance members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MOL, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and OOCL.
