Greater Bay Airlines will launch Manila to Hong Kong flights in November.

The new service will operate five times a week between Hong Kong and Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport [NAIA]) using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with an all-economy configuration, the airline said in a statement.

Manila is the seventh destination in Greater Bay Airlines’ network which includes Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, Seoul, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Departures from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) are scheduled at 11:50 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with arrivals at NAIA at 2 am the following day.

Flights from HKG take off at 3 am landing in Hong Kong at 5:10 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Meanwhile, other airlines are also either resuming or adding new services to Manila.

Shenzhen Airlines will resume flights between Manila and Shenzhen, China, starting on October 31.

Batik Air Malaysia is preparing to launch flights from Kuala Lumpur on December 2.

United Airlines will inaugurate its San Francisco-Manila route on October 30, while Jetstar Asia will resume flights to Osaka-Kansai on November 24.

Moreover, KLM is altering its Manila service, routing through Taipei instead of Kuala Lumpur.

Vietnam Airlines will return to Manila, offering flights to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi starting on December 1 and 2, respectively.

Local carriers Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines are also expanding their reach with respective launches of flights to Da Nang on December 7, and to Tuguegarao on October 29.
