IAG Cargo appoints Group Concorde as agent in 8 countries

IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), has appointed Group Concorde as its general sales agent (GSA) across eight countries, including the Philippines.

The partnership signifies a major expansion for both companies, aiming to enhance cargo operations and customer service in Cambodia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand, Group Concorde said in a statement.

Over the next three months, Group Concorde said it will seamlessly assume responsibility for cargo sales operations in the eight key markets, leveraging on its industry experience and robust network to drive growth and efficiency.

The collaboration is also expected to amplify IAG Cargo’s market presence, providing customers in these regions with streamlined access to IAG Cargo’s expansive network and services.

IAG Cargo, meanwhile, views the partnership with Group Concorde as a pivotal step in strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and Oceania.

India-based Group Concorde is currently present in 14 countries within Asia Pacific and UAE, currently representing more than 30 leading international airlines.

IAG Cargo, meanwhile, is the cargo division of IAG, a British-Spanish multinational airline holding company and one of the world’s largest airline groups.
