Port operator International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s Indonesian subsidiary, PT PBM Olah Jasa Andal (OJA), recently signed a cooperation agreement with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II for stevedoring services at berths in Tanjung Priok Port, Indonesia.

Under the agreement, Pelabuhan Indonesia II, a Jakarta-based port services provider, will manage stevedoring services at berths 300, 301, 302 and 303 at Indonesia’s largest port for 15 years.

The berths, located at Terminal II of Tanjung Priok, have a quay length of 600 meters, a seven-hectare container yard and an estimated capacity of 400,000 twenty-foot equivalent units per year.

In May last year, ICTSI Far East Ltd. acquired PT Karwell Indonesia Tbk, which was later renamed PT ICTSI Jasa Prima Tbk (JASA) following a change in business purpose. Last July, JASA acquired a 100% equity interest in OJA.

In addition to the stevedoring contract, OJA and Pelabuhan Indonesia II have existing cooperation agreements under a revenue-sharing scheme for terminal operations at the same berths.
