Iris Lines, Inc. will introduce an updated domestic shipping service network on May 28 in partnership with Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. (TASLI).
The joint venture allows Iris Lines to enhance its services on its established routes and provide additional routing options for greater operational flexibility, the shipping company said in a statement.
The new service network includes the Davao-Gensan Express (DGX), Davao-Zamboanga Express (DZX), and Manila-Cebu Express (MCX).
The new service network overview is as follows:

DGX – bi-monthly (every other Saturday at 0100H, Manila North Harbour) service with a port rotation of Manila-General Santos-Davao-Cagayan De Oro-Manila utilizing Iris Line’s MV Iris Miko

DZX – bi-monthly service (every other Saturday at 0100H, Manila North Harbor) service with a port rotation of Manila-Davao-Zamboanga-Cagayan De Oro-Manila using TASLI’s MV Trans-Asia 15

MCX – weekly (every Monday at 0100H, Manila North Harbor) service with a port rotation of Manila-Cebu-Manila utilizing TASLI’s MV Trans-Asia 12
Aside from the new service network, Iris Lines will maintain its regular weekly service to Davao, now operated through both Iris and TASLI vessels.
Iris Lines, the shipping division of the Royal Cargo Group, is engaged in domestic and international maritime and transport services.
TASLI, meanwhile, is a subsidiary of Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings, Inc. and is a Cebu-based shipping company that engages in transporting passengers and cargo using its roll-on/roll-off passenger ferries and cargo vessels.
