Iris Lines, Inc. is launching in July a new fixed-day weekly service calling major domestic ports.

The Philippine Domestic Service (PDX) features eight monthly departures, where customers can choose from four monthly sailings to Davao and General Santos, as well as an additional four monthly sailings to Cebu and Cagayan De Oro.

Vessels depart Manila every Saturday for Davao and General Santos and every Monday for Cebu and Cagayan De Oro.

The domestic carrier, the shipping division of the Royal Cargo Group, said it guarantees one of the quickest transit times, ensuring cargoes reach their destination within a maximum of three days.

The PDX service commences with the following inaugural voyages:

  • July 13, 2024: MV IRIS Paoay departs Manila for Davao and General Santos
  • July 15, 2024: MV IRIS Miko departs Manila for Cebu and Cagayan De Oro

Each vessel has a 1,100-twenty-foot equivalent unit capacity.

Following the inaugural voyages, the vessels will alternate their routes. Every Saturday its route is Manila to Davao and General Santos, while every Monday its route will be Manila to Cebu and Cagayan De Oro.

Last year, Iris Lines said it was resuming its domestic operations following the temporary suspension of its international services.
